Found On The Ground: Playthings 

Yesterday I was walking through Old Town Alexandria. Somewhere along Cameron St. near the intersection of Patrick St., I noticed this pile of toys sitting at the base of a tree in the sidewalk. This being a residential area, I figured hoped these belonged to whatever child lived at the house that this was in front of. It amused me that whomever left their toys on the sidewalk chose to play with them on the public sidewalk instead of their back yard. It also seemed to be a funny group of toys: mostly action figures and a large plush animal (an owl?). I would have loved to know the story behind this arrangement…
